By using vCenter client:

• Remove the template from the inventory
• Go to the datastore on which it resides
• Select the folder of the template in the right pane
• Right-click and select Move To ...
• Select the datastore to which you want to copy
• Go into the folder and right-click the file with extenstion .vmtx
• Select Add to inventory

Now is you template located on the new datastore.
