To rename Google Drive folder:

 

1. Open Google Drive client and sync

2. Exit Google Drive client

3. Rename folder 

4. Start Google Drive, it will complain about not being able to find the folder, click on the error then click "Locate folder", find and select your renamed folder and wait for it to update

 

5. Stop having to reference an name with space in terminal :)
